Melancholic Pads is a curated collection of 30 handcrafted cinematic pads.
Supports VST3 and AU (works on Mac and Windows) — no Kontakt or Decent Sampler required.
Melancholic Pads brings together organic instruments, synthesizers, and ambient atmospheres to create sounds that feel cinematic, haunting, and alive. Each instrument has its own distinct character, from fragile and intimate tones to darker, evolving textures.
30 handcrafted cinematic pads built from organic instruments, synths, and ambient atmospheres.
The main Expression control has been specifically tailored to the pad sounds, allowing their character to respond in an organic, atmospheric way.
Every instrument includes four additional controls:
Swell - Shape the rise and intensity of the sound.
Tail - Adjust the character and length of the instrument's decay.
Space - Bring more depth and atmosphere into the sound.
Reverb - Additional reverb to add depth to your sound.
Each control uses handcrafted settings designed to stay musical across the collection.
Melancholic Pads isn't designed to cover every possible sound. It is focused on one particular space: melancholic, atmospheric, cinematic pads with enough movement and character to become part of the composition rather than simply sit underneath it.
For sparse arrangements. Slow-moving harmony. Dark cinematic passages. Intimate melodies. Moments that need something unresolved.
